WHAT IS KEEP DELAND BEAUTIFUL, INC?
KEEP DELAND BEAUTIFUL, INC. is a Florida Public Benefit Corporation created with the purpose of supporting and promoting the health, wealth and happiness of the residents and businesses of DeLand, Florida, and we’ve proudly taken a proactive position in the community. Relatively new and unknown in the world of business, and by definition, a Florida public benefit corporation allows a company and its directors to focus on doing things for the greater good – for a community or cause – without the burden of the actual requirement to consider shareholder profits above all else when making decisions. Keep DeLand Beautiful, Inc. intends to:
– Support DeLand citizens and families
– Support local community groups and organizations
– Support local businesses, schools and charities
– Support and host local events
– Defend DeLand’s residents – humans, flora and fauna – against apathy, short sightedness and greed
Keep DeLand Beautiful, Inc. also intends to flourish and grow as a local property owner and community-centric developer – never losing sight of our laser focus on what’s best for DeLand. At Keep DeLand Beautiful, we’re here to be a partner, a friend, a role model, a leader, a helper – a champion for DeLand, Florida.

As a community, DeLand is faced with issues and concerns about the education of the City’s youth and the brightness of their future. Distance learning, home school, montessori, STEM – what may be right for some may not be for others, and Keep DeLand Beautiful is committed to fostering education and educators of students of all ages.
